A 23-year-old man was clinging to life Tuesday after being shot seven times while getting a haircut at a Bronx barbershop — apparently in retaliation for a murder that took place in the same neighborhood last month, police sources said.
The gunman stormed into the Odalis & Cheo Barber Shop on E.175th St. in Mount Hope about 1:30 p.m. Monday and opened fire on Ezekiel Burley as he sat in a barber’s chair, witnesses told police. Burley was hit in both thighs, the midsection and shoulder, officials said.
The shooter ran out of the barbershop to an awaiting BMW, cops said.
Emergency workers rushed Burley to St. Barnabas Hospital, where was still in critical condition late Tuesday.
